The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS EMT is a high performance summer run flat tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. The tire was made with the Extended Mobility Technology. This technology strengthens the tire’s structure for it to be able to withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers in case of air pressure loss. After the air pressure leaves the tire, it can still be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. In this manner, the driver will not be stranded on the side of the road after a puncture, but they will safely arrive to a location where they can change or fix the tire. Run flat tires are manufactured with a heavier construction and as a result they cannot be mixed with regular tires.
